About Vicki Flaugher

Click here for a greeting from Vicki Flaugher of SmartWoman Guides!

Email me directly if you have any questions or would like to become involved in a joint venture with SmartWoman Guides.

I am a 40 something entrepreneur, passionate about empowering the Emerging Woman Entrepreneur–the 35-55 year old female in business.

As the original SmartWoman, I come from a corporate background in high-tech, sales and internet marketing.
I caught the entrepreneur bug back when I was 10 and became the first female “newspaper boy” in the small town of Beeville, Texas.

I am determined to make a life that balances work, family, and spirit and dedicated to enriching lives and realizing dreams.
My greatest pleasures come from facilitating the transformation of an idea from quiet thought to touchable actuality. Building bridges between dreams and reality is my passion.

Service plays a big part in my life philosophy. As a committed philanthopist, I have held offices in the Lions Club International service organization, Relay for Life cancer events, and regularly give my time pro bono to hospice, eldercare, holistic healing, art patronage, and other charitable fund raising events.
Fun is also a big part of my life. I enjoy karaoke, good food, nice wine, gardening, and time with my friends. In the spirit of fun, here’s a sample of my singing.

I quit the corporate world the day they told me that 60 hours a week was “lazy”.
I think life is too sweet to work like that. Passion is a better driving force that punishment. SmartWoman Guides was created to capture that passion.
